Overview:           As an Intermediate/Senior Staff Accountant you will focus on servicing privately owned clients with an opportunity to work with a variety of business sectors including industrial cleaning, manufacturing, construction, real-estate, investment, holding companies and others. Engagements will vary from stand alone companies to large corporate groups and include audits, reviews, and notice to reader engagements. Your experience will include daily access and mentoring by senior staff and partners with many years’ experience in the industry.

Specific duties:

  • Prepare and/or review files for notice to readers, reviews, and audit engagements (using Caseware/Caseview)
  • Responsible for timely completion of field work
  • General preparation of corporate and personal tax returns (Taxprep)
  • Identify and solve technical issues
  • Coach and mentor junior staff members

Qualifications:

  • Between 2-5 years of relevant experience (Privately owned companies preferred)
  • Working towards obtaining (or already have) Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Successful completion of Common Final Exam (CFE)

  • Ability to communicate professionally with client’s staff
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
